Crossdress Ch91part1
by 707On his way back from school, Xu Yan picked up a man.
It was quite a coincidence. He attended a private school, and the vast campus resembled a luxurious mountain villa built on the slope of a hill in the Wangjiao area. This area was a wealthy neighborhood, and usually, the driver would pick him up on time at the school gate. But today, for some unknown reason, there was no sign of the driver.
Eventually, everyone had left the school, and he was crouching under a grove of trees across from the school gate, chatting and flipping through a book. Suddenly, he noticed that there seemed to be someone lying in the deeper grass.
He was startled and cried out, “Who’s there?!”
There was no response.
He put away his textbook and carefully crawled over, parting the grass to take a look.
It was a tall man wearing a black shirt and black dress pants, seemingly injured, with bloodstains on his face. It was unclear whether he was unconscious or dead.
There was no one around, and Xu Yan didn’t carry a phone to school. He couldn’t find anyone to ask for help, so he crawled closer to the man and softly called out, “Hey… are you still alive?”
The man’s eyes were tightly closed, and there was no sound.
Xu Yan trembled as he reached out, slowly bringing his hand close to the man’s nose to test for breath. A faint, warm breath hit his fingers, and he finally let out a sigh of relief.
He was still alive, albeit barely, but at least he was a living person.
“Can you hear me? Hold on a bit longer. The driver will be here soon, and I’ll take you to the hospital first.”
The man still didn’t respond.
Xu Yan could only bend down, getting closer, and softly said, “Are you still conscious? Can you hear my voice? If you can hear me, open your eyes.”
After waiting for a while, the man didn’t open his eyes.
Xu Yan gave up on waking him and anxiously looked toward the direction down the mountain.
Finally, the familiar car appeared in his line of sight, and Xu Yan’s heart rejoiced. He hurried to crawl out of the grass, but unexpectedly, a scorching force suddenly gripped his wrist.
Five long, strong fingers clamped around his slender wrist bone, like a red-hot, taut iron clamp, making it impossible to escape.
Xu Yan was suddenly pulled back and looked into a pair of narrow, deep eyes. Inside, there seemed to be a complex, profound light that made his heart suddenly contract sharply.
The man slightly lifted his eyelids, his voice hoarse and severe.
“No… hospital.”
Xu Yan didn’t understand, “But you look seriously injured.”
The man repeated, “No.”
Xu Yan was about to continue persuading him when he saw the man struggling to take a card from his pocket. Just as he was about to hand it to him, he fainted again.
Xu Yan picked up the card, looking at it from all angles. He didn’t recognize it, so he put it in his school bag and quickly ran to the car.
Unexpectedly, it was Uncle Zhuang who had come in person. Seeing Xu Yan, he looked him up and down carefully.
At the same time, he asked with concern, “Young Master, are you okay? Did you encounter any danger? Were you hurt? Something big happened today!”
Xu Yan only then realized why the driver hadn’t come to pick him up.
Xu Yan’s father had been doing business overseas for many years and had made many enemies. Unexpectedly, someone had the audacity to attempt to kidnap Young Master Xu in broad daylight.
Unfortunately, they kidnapped the wrong person.
It turned out that the driver had been using the company car for personal use every day. Before picking up Xu Yan from school, he would first make a detour to pick up his own son. As a result, the kidnappers misunderstood, and the driver and his son took the hit for Xu Yan. Now, the father and son were both in the hospital.
“Let’s discuss the details when we get back. Your father is still waiting for you at home.”
Uncle Zhuang said this as he opened the car door to let Xu Yan in.
Xu Yan hurriedly looked back at the grass, “Uncle Zhuang, there’s another person… please take him back with us.”

Xu Yan had the unconscious man sent to a guest room on the second floor first and quickly called a family doctor to treat him before slowly coming downstairs.
Xu Yan’s father was sitting in the living room, his face dark. “Did you know that the driver picked up his son before coming to school to get you every day?”
Xu Yan felt a bit guilty, his voice small, “Not for very long.”
He swore he had only found out about it recently. But that driver uncle had been picking him up from school for many years, and their family conditions were average. Xu Yan was worried that his father would get angry and fire him if he found out, so he had kept it a secret out of kindness.
Xu Yan’s father was angry, but he also secretly rejoiced that the person kidnapped today was fortunately not Xu Yan. Xu Yan’s mother had passed away early, and Xu Yan was basically raised by his grandmother. He also knew that he wasn’t very close to his son. Apart from providing good study and living conditions, he had little time to give him companionship and affection. His business was mostly overseas, and he rarely returned to the country. Father and son could see each other once or twice a year at most.
This year, they had only seen each other once, and such a big incident had happened.
“Tomorrow, I’ll have someone arrange your overseas travel documents. Forget about the college entrance exam; go study abroad directly,” Xu Yan’s father, having calmed down, said. “I’ve invested in a university in the United States. You can start as a visiting student now and officially enroll as a freshman in half a year.”
Xu Yan immediately raised his head, “Dad, didn’t we agree? I don’t want to go abroad. I want to stay in the country for school. I also want to take the college entrance exam here.”
Xu Yan’s father raised his voice, “How can I feel at ease with you alone in the country? Your aunt works in the United States, and she can take care of you there. Something like today might happen again, and it won’t be so easy to handle next time.”
Xu Yan didn’t want to go live with his stepmother, nor did he want to leave his grandmother. His father had mentioned sending him to the United States before, and he hadn’t agreed. Now, it sounded like a command.
He negotiated with his father, “I can live very well in the country. I’ve grown up. I can take care of myself and my grandmother.”
Xu Yan’s father was a bit angry, “No matter how grown up you are, you’re still my son. I’m doing this for your own good. Sending you abroad for school isn’t harming you, is it? With your grades, you can’t get into a good school in the country. Going abroad early is the best path for you.”
Xu Yan was unwilling but didn’t dare to argue back. He muttered softly, “Who says I can’t get in.”
Xu Yan’s father, “What did you say? Speak louder.”
Xu Yan then straightened his back and said loudly, “I can get into a good school, Dad. Anyway, there are less than two months left until the college entrance exam. Let me take it first, okay? If I don’t do well, I’ll definitely listen to you and go to the United States. But if I do well, let me stay in the country for school. Is that okay?”
Xu Yan’s father didn’t believe he could achieve anything remarkable in the exam. After a moment of deliberation, he agreed, “Unless you can get into North City University, I won’t consider any other schools.”
Xu Yan was motivated and clenched his fists, his face determined, “Okay, I will definitely get into North City University!”
Butler Zhuang, listening from the side, was a bit moved. Their young master, was he really going to study seriously?
After discussing this matter, Xu Yan turned to go upstairs.
Xu Yan’s father called out to him from below, “Where are you going?”
Xu Yan hurriedly said, “To study.”
Xu Yan’s father, “No rush for this moment. I agreed to let you stay in the country until the college entrance exam is over, but apart from Uncle Zhuang, everyone around you needs to be reselected and replaced.”
Xu Yan’s father said to Uncle Zhuang, “Also, find him a few bodyguards later to follow him closely. I want to know his whereabouts at all times to prevent something like today from happening again.”
Uncle Zhuang quickly agreed.
Xu Yan, upon hearing this, ran down the stairs again and stood in front of his father, “Dad, I don’t want bodyguards following me.”
They were called bodyguards, but in reality, they were there to monitor him, weren’t they?
Wouldn’t that mean he wouldn’t have any freedom afterward?
Xu Yan’s father disagreed, “You must have bodyguards protecting you by your side, or the conditions you just mentioned are off the table.”
Xu Yan looked miserable, pulling at his father’s sleeves with both hands, preparing to act coquettishly.
Suddenly, there was a loud clatter from upstairs. In no time, the black-clad bodyguards that Xu Yan’s father had sent upstairs to watch over the unconscious man all retreated, each with bruised faces and swollen noses, groaning as they clutched their arms and legs.
The family doctor quickly appeared at the top of the stairs, a small, sharp surgical knife draped around his neck. Behind him stood a tall, broad-shouldered man. His wide back and chest muscles strained against his black shirt, making it bulge. His cold, stern eyebrows were lowered as he looked down at the people in the living room from above.
Uncle Zhuang’s face changed dramatically, and he immediately instructed the housekeeper to quickly call for more people from outside.
Xu Yan’s father was also shocked and shouted loudly upstairs, “What are you doing?! Put the knife down, or I’ll call the police!”
The man, upon hearing this, had his eyes suddenly turn cold and sharp. His gaze swept over the two people speaking, confirming they posed no threat. While silently calculating in his mind, he heard another, much gentler voice speak up.
“You’re awake. Can you put the knife down?” Xu Yan was anxious inside but only showed a pure and harmless smile to the man. He took two steps toward the staircase, “Don’t worry, we’re not bad people. I’m the one who talked to you in the grass earlier. I brought you back here. You were unconscious at the time.”
The man indeed paused, no wonder his voice sounded a bit familiar.
Xu Yan stepped up the stairs, “You said you didn’t want to go to the hospital, right?”
The man was dazed for a moment, as if he remembered something, and decisively put away the knife, pushing the family doctor aside.
The family doctor was almost scared out of his wits, his legs trembling as he leaned on the railing to come down the stairs.
Xu Yan immediately breathed a sigh of relief, his eyebrows curving into a smile, “Do you remember now?”
“Mmm,” the man looked around, his eyes dark, then added, “Sorry.”
The family doctor, now sure he was safe, hurriedly explained, “You suffered a severe head injury. When you just woke up, you might have mistaken us for the people attacking you. But we’re actually the ones who saved you. It was the young master who brought you back. Otherwise, if you had stayed outside all night with your body temperature dropping, you might have frozen to death.”
The man’s gaze fell on the young master, who was a few steps away on the stairs.
Only now could he see clearly that the young master was very good-looking, with a fair and delicate face. His bright, moist eyes fixed on people without blinking. The ends of his pretty eyes would slightly lift due to his smile, and his lips were red and full, with a soft and beautiful curve. When he spoke, you could see the little tongue hidden inside.
They were watery, and they should be very thirst-quenching.
Xu Yan was being stared at intensely by the man, whose dark pupils reminded him of a python. The terrifying vertical pupils could firmly lock onto delicious prey, filled with a suppressed, flickering excitement. He felt as if his skin was covered with that wet, sticky liquid, enveloping him, wanting to devour him, making him uncomfortable all over.
But when he briefly looked away and looked back, the man’s expression had already returned to normal, and the strong oppressive feeling from before seemed like an illusion.
Xu Yan was confused. The man had already come down from upstairs and, as he passed by Xu Yan, turned the surgical knife in his hand, pointing the tip at himself, and handed it back.
Xu Yan obediently took it, watching the person in front of him go downstairs. He didn’t know what he said to Xu Yan’s father, but he saw his father’s face darken, and then he ordered all the bodyguards in the living room to withdraw. The two of them, one after the other, went into the study. He also had Uncle Zhuang stand at the study door to ensure no one could enter and disturb them, not even Xu Yan.
“Young Master, you go upstairs and rest first. When Mr. Xu comes out after their talk, I’ll call you.”
Xu Yan just nodded and obediently went back to his room.
At this time, his grandmother was outside doing rehabilitation training and knew nothing about what had happened at home. Xu Yan first called his grandmother, and since no one had come upstairs to call him, he opened another test paper and started working on it.
After finishing a whole set, he checked the answers and got almost a perfect score.
Xu Yan rested his face on his hands and stared at the paper, spacing out for a while.
Actually, every time he took a test, he intentionally didn’t do well to make his father think his grades were poor. This way, he could use his college entrance exam scores later as a bargaining chip with his father. Otherwise, his father wouldn’t easily agree to let him study at a university in the country.
His grandmother was old and not in good health. He had to stay by her side.
The room door was knocked on, and Uncle Zhuang called his name from outside.
Xu Yan got up and hurried to open the door.
