Crossdress Ch66
by 707There were all kinds of styles, long, short, silk and sheer fabrics, bunny ears, cat tails, backless, low-cut, leg-revealing outfits, and an entire wall filled with lingerie, leg accessories, chains, belts…
Xu Yan’s eyes widened in disbelief as he stepped inside.
He had thought Wen Sinian had already bought him too many dresses, his closet was almost full, but he hadn’t imagined that Wen Sinian, at some unknown point, had filled an entire walk-in closet with dresses just for him. The rainbow of colors dazzled his eyes; it was like falling into a garden of blooming flowers.
No wonder there was always a new dress every night for Wen Sinian to put on him. Even if one was torn, there was always another. Turns out, hundreds more were hidden here.
If he were to wear them all one by one, wouldn’t he die wearing all these dresses?
Supporting his aching waist, Xu Yan was so overwhelmed by the sight before him he nearly cried.
In the middle of the closet was a large, plush sofa, a carpet underneath, and a full-length mirror in front of it. And before the mirror was a painting.
Xu Yan’s heartbeat sped up. He slowly walked over.
One painting was a portrait he had drawn of Wen Sinian. The other, an oil painting of a gothic castle with a witch seated high on a throne, was painted by Lin Xingxian. And that witch… was him.
He stared at the two paintings for a long time, until his legs went weak and he collapsed onto the sofa in front of the mirror.
Lin Xingxian had guessed correctly, the painting had indeed been purchased by Wen Sinian for a high price.
Which meant… Wen Sinian had already known he was Yanyan back then, yet still pretended in front of him like he didn’t know.
Then, Xu Yan noticed the leg accessory hanging in the center of one glass case: a white lace garter tied with a bow.
He paused for a moment, walked over, and examined it closely.
One of the ribbons had frayed slightly. He knew it well, this was the one he had lost.
A chill ran up Xu Yan’s spine. He suddenly realized, Wen Sinian must have discovered his identity even earlier than the painting.
Back when he had caught a fever from the rain and was taken to the hospital, Wen Sinian had stayed with him all night.
Back when he was panicking over the lost garter, afraid one of his roommates had found it, no wonder Wen Sinian had been so calm and reassuring.
Because the one who picked it up, was Year himself.
Xu Yan was stunned, and also felt… so stupid.
So many “coincidences”… how had he never suspected anything? And that night he first came to this villa, when he thought he’d been exposed, Wen Sinian had acted like he had just discovered the truth and tricked him completely.
How could someone be even more devious than he imagined?
Xu Yan didn’t stay long in the walk-in closet. He couldn’t bear it and started heading toward the door. Near the doorway was a tall cabinet he hadn’t noticed earlier. Sitting on top was a brand-new phone box.
Xu Yan opened his eyes wide. Inside, was his old phone he had used for years.
Wen Sinian had told him it was beyond repair. He’d been upset for a long time, thinking it had been thrown away. But here it was, carefully preserved.
He turned it on and discovered all the lock screen and app passwords had been removed.
Oh wow. Wen Sinian had clearly rifled through this phone many times.
Xu Yan, fuming, put the old phone back and locked the cabinet again.
He was angry. Really, really angry.
Even after wandering around the room for ages, he couldn’t calm down. Everything here reminded him of Wen Sinian, how he lied, how Xu Yan had foolishly fallen right into his trap.
And now he expected him to wait obediently at home? Absolutely not.
Xu Yan dug through his backpack, quickly packed a few clothes, grabbed the now-dry bunny plush from the balcony, and stuffed it in.
He changed into a long-sleeved top, high-neck sweater, and long pants, covering every single mark Wen Sinian had left on his body. Then, carrying his backpack, he headed downstairs and put on his shoes to leave.
The housekeeper was stunned and tried to stop him. “Yanyan, where are you going?”
Xu Yan kept a straight face. “To the hospital to see Grandma.”
He couldn’t tell the truth, or she’d alert Wen Sinian.
“That’s perfect. I’ll go with you. I’ve made some soup, I’ll bring it along too,” the housekeeper said. “Wait here a moment, okay?”
Xu Yan nodded. “Alright.”
The housekeeper bustled into the kitchen, packed the soup in a thermal container, and came back out, only to find the entrance empty.

Xu Yan had sent Wen Sinian a message at the door… and then left his phone behind in the villa.
He first took a taxi to find Shang Jia and briefly explained what had happened. Shang Jia was furious.
“What the hell kind of person is that?! Yanyan, whatever decision you make, I’ll support you! Three-legged toads are rare, but three-legged men? Plenty!”
Xu Yan had stormed off in anger, but now that he was calmer, he told Shang Jia, “I want to go back.”
Shang Jia: “Back where?”
Xu Yan: “Back to Wuzhen. I want to go home and spend the New Year with Grandma.”
Shang Jia fully agreed. “Alright, train tickets are hard to get now. I’ll drive you both. My parents are staying elsewhere this year anyway, maybe I’ll spend New Year in Wuzhen too.”
They quickly made a plan. Shang Jia even found an old flip phone for Xu Yan to use temporarily, then drove him to the hospital.
They had asked the doctor beforehand, and he said the grandma had been recovering well. As long as she came back for regular checkups, there was no issue with her being discharged.
Xu Yan and Shang Jia completed the paperwork and helped Grandma into the back seat. With daylight still left, they set out for Wuzhen.
Shang Jia was thrilled the entire ride. She’d always wanted to visit Xu Yan and Shen Nanli’s old hometown. Now she finally had the chance, and someone to spend New Year with. She couldn’t stop chatting with Grandma.
Only Xu Yan sat silently in the passenger seat, leaning against the window, watching the scenery outside in a daze.
They took turns driving, and it was nearly 10 PM when they reached Wuzhen.
Wuzhen at night was nothing like the city. No nightlife, most families had already gone to bed. But the festive New Year vibe was everywhere, many doors had red lanterns hanging, and colorful lights adorned the trees by the gates.
The car pulled up in front of a somewhat old redwood door. Parking here was casual, just don’t block the road.
Xu Yan and Shang Jia helped Grandma out of the car together.
Standing at the door, breathing in the fresh, free air, surrounded by a familiar and safe atmosphere, Xu Yan finally relaxed.
Inside was a tidy little courtyard, though a bit dusty and covered with fallen leaves since no one had stayed there for a while.
Xu Yan first asked Shang Jia and Grandma to sit in the living room and wait. He went into Grandma’s room to change the bedsheets and duvet cover, tidied up a little, and only then let Grandma go to sleep.
Fortunately, the house had three bedrooms. Xu Yan gave the larger spare room to Shang Jia, helped her make the bed, and then went to sleep in a study that had been converted into a small bedroom.
Before sleeping, Xu Yan crawled under the blanket, turned on a flashlight, squeezed out some ointment onto his fingertips, and slowly applied it to himself while twisting his waist.
It was the only thing he had brought from the villa. If he hadn’t been in so much pain, unable to walk without medicine, he wouldn’t even have brought this.
It took a long while, this kind of thing was always done by Wen Sinian, holding him and coaxing him. Now he had to do it himself.
Xu Yan wiped his hands with tissues, his eyes slightly red.
His body still ached all over. The whole day he had been forcing himself to endure the discomfort, not wanting to let Shang Jia or Grandma notice anything unusual.
He tucked himself in and closed his eyes, still filled with grievance, cursing a certain bad dog hundreds of times in his heart.
Cursing and cursing, his lashes grew damp, and he fell asleep just like that.

At the studio, everyone was working overtime. The video call lasted until 7 PM, but the deal was finally sealed. After the call ended, the entire team cheered excitedly, shouting about going out to dinner to celebrate. Wen Sinian agreed.
He picked up his phone, intending to ask if Xu Yan had woken up and could join them.
Unexpectedly, his phone had run out of battery at some point. Wen Sinian told the others to go find a place first and send him the location later. He drove straight back to the villa.
The moment he opened the door, he saw the housekeeper pacing anxiously by the entrance, covered in sweat.
Before she could speak, Wen Sinian felt a pang in his chest.
“What’s wrong?” he asked.
The housekeeper stammered, “Yanyan… Yanyan, he…”
Wen Sinian’s eyes narrowed coldly. He brushed past her and went straight upstairs.
The housekeeper anxiously followed behind, explaining, “Yanyan left this afternoon and hasn’t come back. He said he was going to the hospital to visit his grandma, but I’ve been calling him, and no one answers. I called you, but your phone was off… I didn’t know what to do, I nearly called the police.”
Wen Sinian didn’t listen to a word. He strode up to the dark wooden door of the master bedroom and pushed it open.
Inside, it was pitch black. The room still held traces of the previous night’s heat, hints of their intense intimacy lingered in the air.
But now, the person who promised to wait obediently for his return, was gone.
Wen Sinian’s expression turned darker. He walked to the bed and plugged in his phone. Once it turned on, he immediately checked Xu Yan’s location. Strangely, the red dot showed Xu Yan’s position was still in the villa, even in that very room.
He glanced at the rumpled bed and twitched his fingers. Suddenly, he yanked the blanket aside.
Lying quietly beneath it was a white phone matching his own, a couple’s phone. Beside it were two lighters, one black plastic, one shaped like a spade, and a set of car keys.
A wave of rage surged from his chest. His cold eyes lowered so dangerously, they almost merged into the shadows of the room.
He bent down and picked up the items from the bed.
They were things he had given Xu Yan, and Xu Yan had left them behind.
What did that mean?
He checked the phone. There were unread messages, mostly from the panicked housekeeper, and a few others:
[Dumb Baby]: Didn’t you say there were no secrets between us?
[Dumb Baby]: So that was a lie too.
[Dumb Baby]: I really am such an idiot. You do whatever you want, and I still believe everything you say. I’m so damn stupid.
[Dumb Baby]: Lying to me must be so fun, huh?
The moment Wen Sinian read those, his breath hitched. He turned to the housekeeper and asked in an icy voice, “What else did he do today?”
“N-Nothing much,” the housekeeper stammered. “Oh, right, he asked about a painting and asked me for the key to the hidden room…”
Wen Sinian frowned. “You gave it to him?”
“You told me to fulfill all of his requests…”
Wen Sinian didn’t respond. He lowered his gaze to continue reading:
[Dumb Baby]: I mean it this time. I really, really, really don’t want to see you ever again.
[Dumb Baby]: This time, I really mean it.
Wen Sinian clenched his phone tightly. His rational facade was shattered by a few soft words on the screen. The cold calmness he had been holding together crumbled completely.
He had considered what Xu Yan might do after learning the full truth, but Xu Yan had always been soft and obedient. If he hugged him and coaxed him, Xu Yan would always forgive him.
But now… Xu Yan said he never wanted to see him again.
So, what now? He left behind all the things Wen Sinian gave him, made sure he couldn’t be found, and disappeared entirely from his world?
Was this really a breakup?
Just the thought of Xu Yan walking away with a backpack, so resolute and determined, made Wen Sinian lose control. He threw the phone onto the ground with a loud “thud.” The screen, still showing the red location dot, shattered into pieces.
He tilted his head back, took in a deep breath of the lingering scent in the room, letting the traces of Xu Yan left in the air travel deep into his lungs.
When he opened his eyes again, they were filled with restrained madness.
Break up? Not unless one of us dies. Or in our next life.
He thought he wouldn’t be able to find him without a location tracker?
Xu Yan’s body was still marked all over, marked by him.
He was his. Every part of him.
Wen Sinian unlocked Xu Yan’s phone and first called the hospital. As expected, he found out Xu Yan had completed the discharge process for Grandma. With the New Year coming, they likely returned to their hometown in Wuzhen.
He used Xu Yan’s WeChat to message Zhao Qingji, the class president, who had everyone’s home address and personal information.
He made up an excuse about needing to verify some info, and Zhao Qingji, not thinking much of it, sent over Xu Yan’s personal details via screenshot.
Wen Sinian picked up his own phone from the ground, swiped a finger across the shattered screen, and called Zheng Yao.
“Enjoy the dinner party tonight. I won’t be coming,” Wen Sinian’s voice was as calm as ever. “Also, let the others know, we’re officially on break starting tomorrow.”
After ending the call, he grabbed his car keys, walked out the door,
and drove overnight to Wuzhen.
Hey, it looks like you’ve missed the first half of this chapter.
