Crossdress Ch19
by 707The message on his alt account and the person standing in front of him made Xu Yan’s head feel like a mess of porridge, but he didn’t have time to reply just yet.
Wearing a helmet with two cute little dragon horns on top, he looked up with his rosy lips slightly parted, expression innocent and surprised.
“S-Senior…” His voice was soft, almost blown away by the wind. “Did you place this order?”
Wen Sinian’s gaze lingered on him, scanning him from top to bottom, his eyes low and unreadable.
“…Yeah.”
They had met once at the store, Xu Yan thought. Could it be that he didn’t remember Xu Yan working part-time here?
“Alright,” Xu Yan decided to stay professional and complete the job properly. He forced a service-industry smile. “Ten cups in total, please check and confirm~”
To his surprise, the man didn’t reach out to take them. Instead, he took a step back and pulled the door open wider.
“Come in.”
With that, Wen Sinian turned and walked into the living room.
Xu Yan hesitated for a second, then figured since he was already halfway through, he might as well go all the way. Carrying the coffee, he followed him inside.
The villa courtyard was quite spacious, clean and tidy. In the corner stood a red wooden swing.
Standing just outside the living room, Xu Yan looked down at his shoes.
“No need to change,” the man inside said.
“Okay.”
So Xu Yan tiptoed in, walking lightly and carefully.
After stepping into the living room, he glanced around with curious eyes.
The inside wasn’t structured like a typical villa—it had been remodeled. The design followed a simple industrial style. The center of the first floor was sunken in, forming an open space with seven or eight desks arranged neatly. Each desk was equipped with multiple monitors, and the floor’s data cables were organized meticulously. On the second floor, railing lined a corridor, with a few glass doors separating two offices. Deeper inside were more rooms that looked like bedrooms.
A sleek black logo was mounted on the wall: Astra Game
This must be his studio, Xu Yan guessed.
“No one else is here?” Xu Yan asked.
Ten cups of coffee—obviously, it was a group order.
“They went out for dinner,” Wen Sinian replied.
So that meant… they were the only two people in the house right now.
Xu Yan looked around again. Most of the desks were cluttered with spare parts and scattered technical books. There wasn’t really any space left.
Wen Sinian stood in the living room, appearing busy, head down, typing messages.
Xu Yan stole a glance at him, eyes finally landing on his phone.
It didn’t have a case, and the black glass back was completely shattered, cracked all over. It was astonishing that it still worked in such condition.
Xu Yan frowned slightly. What a coincidence—year had just said his phone broke too.
When Wen Sinian looked up, Xu Yan quickly asked, “Where should I put the coffee?”
“Just got back from a competition. It’s a bit messy,” Wen Sinian replied. “Anywhere is fine.”
Xu Yan didn’t dare take that too literally. He spotted a large fridge in the kitchen area and offered, “They’re still cold. Should I put them in the fridge for now?”
Wen Sinian: “Thanks.”
Xu Yan gave a slight smile. Serving customers was his job, after all.
He carried the coffee to the fridge and opened the door—only to freeze for a moment.
Inside, rows of glass bottles filled the shelves, and on the top layer was a small, pastel pink pouch. No idea what was inside. Besides that, there was absolutely nothing else.
He recalled what Lin Xingxian had said—the young master was hard to please and only drank water from one specific brand. Looks like that was true.
Xu Yan pursed his lips and carefully took the coffee out of the bag, placing each cup into the fridge one by one.
“It’s best to drink them before the ice melts,” he reminded as he worked. “Otherwise the taste might change. These two don’t have ice, so I won’t refrigerate them—can I just leave them here on this counter?”
A deep, cold voice suddenly rang out right behind him—eerily close.
“That’s fine.”
Xu Yan hadn’t heard any footsteps at all and had no idea when Wen Sinian had moved behind him. Startled, his body jerked reflexively, and the coffee cup in his hand almost slipped.
In his panic, he caught the cup, letting out a quiet gasp.
A strong arm suddenly reached over from behind, brushing lightly against his waist. A broad palm, fingers long and firm, swiftly wrapped around his hand from the back.
Those long fingers threaded between his pale ones, gripping tightly—not just the coffee cup, but also Xu Yan’s smaller hand, completely enveloping it.
The cup didn’t fall, but the liquid inside splashed from the jolt. Brown coffee spilled from the lid, splattering both of them and soaking their tightly linked hands.
Xu Yan was still in shock. The warmth pressing against the back of his hand was intense. Coffee clung to his palms and knuckles, leaving a sticky mess.
He tried to pull his hand away, but after two failed attempts, the grip hadn’t loosened at all. On the contrary, he could now see the veins popping on Wen Sinian’s pale hand, forming a net-like pattern, like a cage.
His heart raced uncontrollably, threatening to leap from his throat.
The coffee dripped from their entwined fingers, tracing the stark contrast in their arm sizes before landing on the floor.
The room fell utterly silent.
Plip—
Plip—
Xu Yan almost forgot to breathe. Seeing that the man still wasn’t letting go, he finally said, “I-I’ve got it.”
The pressure on his hand eased after two seconds. Slowly, the hand at his waist retreated.
A few fingers brushed against the soft flesh of his side in passing. The touch was brief, but it made Xu Yan’s back tense up as he instinctively stepped aside.
This cup of coffee was basically done for. It didn’t drop, but most of it had already spilled.
Half was on Xu Yan and Wen Sinian. The rest was on the floor.
Xu Yan turned to glance behind him. The man was still standing very close—so close that if he lifted his head just a little, the little dragon horns on his helmet would poke Wen Sinian’s chin.
He subtly stepped back a little, putting some distance between himself and the person in front of him, his thin back nearly pressing up against the fridge door.
“Sorry, I didn’t mean to,” Xu Yan softly explained, “you were too close just now, and you startled me when you spoke… that’s why the coffee spilled.”
Wen Sinian’s eyes were deep and unreadable. He didn’t seem to care at all about the poor coffee.
“Your clothes are wet,” he said.
Xu Yan looked down. His work uniform was a dark brown color, so once wet, it soaked into a large black patch. His chest was splashed with quite a bit, and the fabric clung to the thin skin and bones underneath. You could even see the subtle rise and fall of his chest as he breathed.
It really was uncomfortable to have wet clothes sticking to him. Xu Yan tugged at his collar, pulling the fabric away from his skin, and glanced at the man opposite him.
Wen Sinian was wearing a white top and black pants. Even though most of the coffee ended up on Xu Yan, there were still a few visible splashes on Wen Sinian’s shirt—and on white, it stood out even more.
“It’s fine for me. Once it dries, it won’t be noticeable,” Xu Yan said with some concern. “But will the stain on your shirt come out?”
He didn’t recognize what brand Wen Sinian’s clothes were, but they definitely looked expensive.
No way… Would he have to pay for it?
That lighter repair bill of a thousand yuan had already made his heart ache…
Thinking of this, Xu Yan’s little face scrunched up. He quickly took care of the remaining coffee, then grabbed a few tissues and held them out with both hands.
Wen Sinian didn’t take them. His gaze lowered as he replied, “Probably not.”
Xu Yan froze. “Ah… Then what should I do?”
Wen Sinian stepped half a pace closer, closing the space Xu Yan had deliberately tried to maintain. His towering gaze pressed down, aggressive and inescapable.
His tone was calm, but his eyes were dark and heavy as he asked, “What does your store policy say to do in cases like this?”
Xu Yan tilted his head up, lips pouting slightly in grievance. “Are you going to file a complaint against me…?”
Aren’t they supposed to be roommates? How did this minor accident escalate to ‘store policy’?
If the store manager didn’t know, they could just handle it privately. But if the manager found out he’d spilled coffee during his first delivery—on an expensive outfit no less—he had no idea what kind of punishment he might face.
Wen Sinian’s gaze slid from the silly and cute little helmet on Xu Yan’s head, to the soft fringe sticking to his forehead, to the moist and bright eyes, the high-bridged nose, and finally, to those slightly parted, rosy lips.
They were a lovely shape—full and round. A plump little mound sat in the center of the upper lip, looking tender and soft, perfect for sucking or—
The lower lip had just been bitten gently, now a deep, flushed red.
With that pitiful little expression, he really did look easy to bully.
Wen Sinian asked, “How do I file a complaint?”
Xu Yan’s heart skipped a beat. Was he seriously thinking of reporting him…?
“I-I’ll help clean it up first.”
His two small hands, holding the tissues, timidly reached forward. His soft, pink fingertips were wrapped in white paper as he gently dabbed at the wet spots on Wen Sinian’s shirt. He started by pressing firmly to absorb the moisture, then wiped in small, slow circles.
From the chest, he slowly moved downward toward the waist and abdomen.
Even through the thin fabric, Xu Yan could feel the heat radiating from a body honed by constant workouts. His chest and abs were sharply defined, brimming with strength and endurance.
Xu Yan wasn’t thinking about anything else—he just wanted to fix his mistake. As he carefully cleaned, he quietly tried to gauge the man’s mood.
“I really am sorry. Today’s my first time doing a delivery, so I was a bit nervous…”
“And I didn’t expect the order to be yours.”
“I even brought it inside for you, and put it in the fridge…”
The more he wiped, the more the muscles under his fingers seemed to tense. When he reached the waistband of the black athletic pants, he felt the muscles suddenly tighten under the tissue, sending a flash of heat through his fingertips.
His voice softened, slightly pleading. With the cute little dragon horns on his helmet, he looked like a cartoon character. His big eyes blinked slowly, and his small face tilted up, drawing a bit closer.
The distance between them vanished. He could hear Wen Sinian’s breathing.
“I’ll make you a new cup of coffee, okay? So please don’t report me…”
As soon as the words left his lips, Wen Sinian didn’t reply. Instead, he suddenly grabbed Xu Yan’s wrist, pulling it slightly aside.
That large hand, with its defined knuckles, clamped onto Xu Yan’s delicate, pale wrist. The soft flesh wrapped around the slender bone was so thin that the grip could easily leave red marks.
He couldn’t resist giving it a gentle squeeze—and as expected, Xu Yan let out a soft, cat-like whimper.
Wen Sinian’s pupils shrank slightly, like a beast catching the scent of blood.
So sensitive.
Xu Yan tried to pull his hand back, but it was completely useless. He instinctively tensed his shoulders, and then—
“Xu Yan,” the man suddenly said.
Xu Yan didn’t dare meet his eyes, looking away as he answered, “…Yeah?”
Wen Sinian no longer applied pressure, but before releasing him, he rubbed his thumb slowly over the bone of Xu Yan’s wrist. The tingling sensation nearly made Xu Yan scratch the spot in response.
“Are you afraid of me?”
Xu Yan froze.
That question… It sounded familiar. Someone had asked him that before too.
“N-no,” he answered.
But in truth, he was terrified.
Wen Sinian leaned down slightly. The oppressive force radiating from him felt like it could pierce through air and skin alike, pinning Xu Yan in place.
Xu Yan tried to retreat further, but his back was already pressed against the cold fridge door—there was nowhere to go.
It felt like his back had fallen into an ice cave, while the heat in front of him threatened to burst into flames.
He didn’t dare look up, so his eyes fixated on the man’s collarbones instead.
They were sharp and smooth, the ridges prominent and shadows clearly defined.
Very beautiful.
But then a hand pressed down on the little dragon horn of his helmet, forcing him to lift his head.
Wen Sinian looked down at him. “Have I ever bullied you?”
Xu Yan’s long lashes trembled like fluttering butterfly wings. He exhaled a breath of air, barely audible: “No…”
But clearly, he was bullying him now.
“Then… do you hate me?”
Xu Yan straightened his back with resolve and immediately replied, “No, I don’t…”
Trying to prove that he neither feared nor disliked him, he spoke quickly: “Oh right, I asked the shop assistant about the lighter just a couple of days ago. She said the parts haven’t arrived yet, but she’ll notify me when they do. I’ve been keeping it in mind this whole time…”
Wen Sinian said, “I know.”
The assistant had been proactively updating him. Honestly, he hadn’t been that concerned about it.
Right after saying that, he suddenly raised his arm. The veins and muscle along his forearm bulged slightly, like the posture of someone about to strike.
Xu Yan inhaled sharply, the breath stuck in his chest. He leaned his upper body back as far as he could, which only caused his hips to jut slightly forward.
He had already explained it wasn’t on purpose. He knew Wen Sinian’s clothes were expensive.
This was Wen Sinian’s territory, and unfortunately, no one else was home. The entire villa held only the two of them.
A faint ring of moisture formed at the corners of Xu Yan’s eyes, his rims reddening. Suddenly, he clutched his face with both hands and pleaded pitifully:
“Don’t… please don’t hit me…”
No one here could save him.
But what came next wasn’t pain. Instead, he heard a soft pop sound by his ear, followed by a rush of cold air pouring over him.
Peeking through the gaps in his fingers, he saw that Wen Sinian had simply reached into the fridge, taken out a fresh cup of coffee, and also grabbed that pink pouch from the top shelf.
He thought he heard a faint, stifled chuckle from above. When he looked up, he met Wen Sinian’s cold, dark eyes.
Only this time, there seemed to be something else hidden within them—a lazier, softer emotion. His gaze lowered, reflecting only Xu Yan’s small figure.
“I’m not going to hit you.”
A chilled coffee cup was gently pressed to Xu Yan’s cheek, instantly making that small patch of pale skin wet and cold.
Then, the tall figure leaned in close from the other side of his face, warm breath brushing against his ear. The low, husky voice was like a wicked, dreadful prophecy—laced with a faint smile:
“I’m going to eat you.”
