Crossdress Ch64part2
by 707Xu Yan was lifted slightly higher, needing to lower his head, open his mouth, and stick out his tongue to be kissed.
Dazed from the kiss, he vaguely realized that Wen Sinian was carrying him upstairs.
He thought Wen Sinian must be in such a bad mood that he’d definitely want to vent tonight.
But unexpectedly, Wen Sinian didn’t do anything, instead, he brought Xu Yan back to his own room.
Xu Yan had driving lessons the next day, and the two had agreed earlier to sleep in separate rooms during those days, since Xu Yan was worried he wouldn’t have enough energy during the day otherwise.
After washing up, he lay alone in the big bed and kept recalling everything that had happened that day, especially that silent kiss.
He tossed and turned, unable to sleep.
When he checked the time, it was nearly midnight.
Maybe it was because he had gotten used to sleeping in Wen Sinian’s arms—now that he had the entire bed to himself, it just felt… empty.
At 12:30, he finally stepped out of bed in his slippers and padded over to the master bedroom door.
He gently knocked.
“Are you asleep?”
He pressed his ear to the door, listening for a while. No sound.
A little disheartened.
He was the only one suffering from insomnia after they split rooms. Totally unfair.
Just as he turned to go back, the door was pulled open from inside.
Wen Sinian stood at the doorway, looking at him.
“So you weren’t asleep either.”
Xu Yan’s eyes lit up. He took two steps forward and snuggled into his arms, looking up and asking,
“I can’t sleep. Will you sleep with me?”
Wen Sinian’s body was warm, his gaze deep. He wrapped an arm around Xu Yan’s waist.
“Are you sure?”
Xu Yan nodded, adding,
“Just sleep, nothing else. My butt still hasn’t healed. If we do anything, I won’t be able to sit in the car tomorrow.”
Wen Sinian’s voice was husky.
“Alright.”
Once inside, Xu Yan sniffed the air—it seemed a bit… murky.
There was a strange smell, like it was covering up something else.
He lifted the blanket and crawled in, patting the pillow beside him to signal Wen Sinian to lie down too.
After he got into bed, Xu Yan rolled over into his arms, adjusted into a comfortable position, and let out a contented sigh.
This feeling—wrapped in overwhelming safety—this was right.
Wen Sinian merely held him loosely, not in the tight embrace they usually shared.
He had taken medicine earlier and couldn’t do anything tonight, fearing he might lose control and end up hurting Xu Yan.
Xu Yan noticed Wen Sinian wasn’t holding him very tightly and felt a bit concerned.
He took the initiative to wrap his arms around Wen Sinian’s waist and softly said from within his arms,
“Do you want to talk to me about it? Maybe letting it out will help you feel better.”
Wen Sinian’s voice was strained but gentle.
“If you want to know, I’ll tell you everything.”
Xu Yan thought for a moment.
“Then… let me tell you my story first, okay? We can exchange.”
“Okay.”
So Xu Yan started from his childhood.
He told Wen Sinian how his parents left him with his grandmother in the countryside, how they only visited once a year at most, and how he and his grandmother depended on each other.
After his parents divorced and remarried, he never fit in with either of their new families, he always felt like the extra one caught in between.
Later, when his mother passed away, his father ignored him even more. No support, not even a phone call for years.
“My grandmother’s health isn’t good. I didn’t want to go to university in the capital because it’s too far from Wuzhen. I wanted to stay closer to her.
But she wouldn’t let me change my application. She sold our house in Wuzhen and told me I had to study hard and make something of myself…”
Xu Yan curled up against Wen Sinian’s chest, eyes closed—but tears gradually welled up.
They soaked through Wen Sinian’s shirt.
“So my grandma is the only family I have. She’s the person I love most in this world.
I just want her to get better soon and stop getting sick…”
Wen Sinian lifted his face and kissed away the tears.
“She will. Your grandma will get better. And from now on, I’ll be your family too.
Let’s take care of her together, okay?”
Xu Yan’s eyes were brimming with tears.
He nodded and wiped his tears on Wen Sinian’s chest. His voice was nasally as he said,
“Okay, now it’s your turn.”
Wen Sinian only gave a brief summary.
It sounded similar to Xu Yan’s story, but unlike him, Wen Sinian didn’t even have a loving grandmother.
And his father, Wen Zhenying, was just… a terrible father and an even worse person.
While the one speaking remained composed, the listener couldn’t hold back tears.
Xu Yan’s chest ached with sadness, tears streaming down again.
As Wen Sinian kissed him gently, he asked in a soft voice,
“Why are your eyes always so watery, baby?”
Xu Yan just hugged him and said with deep reliance,
“Let me be your family too, okay?
You and Grandma are the people I love most. I’ll protect you both.”
“You’re not alone anymore. You have me.”

They didn’t fall asleep until almost 2 a.m.
The next day, Xu Yan’s eyes were so swollen he could barely open them.
Thankfully, Wen Sinian had arranged for a private driving instructor, one-on-one lessons.
While the instructor comfortably enjoyed food and drink downstairs, Xu Yan stayed upstairs for a bit longer, unwilling to leave the bed.
Xu Yan was a fast learner, and that included driving.
The instructor found him easy to teach and hardly had to worry.
During the day, Xu Yan practiced driving.
He usually came back early in the afternoon and often cooked two simple dishes.
Ever since discovering that Wen Sinian liked his cooking, he became motivated to learn.
He even bought a recipe book and tried new dishes every day, occasionally bringing some to the hospital for his grandmother to try.
And in less than a month… Xu Yan actually passed his driving test.
The Bentley that had been sitting in the garage was finally taken out and shown to the world.
At first, Wen Sinian wasn’t comfortable letting Xu Yan drive alone, so he accompanied him on the road for a few days before finally allowing him to go out by himself.
Now, Xu Yan could drive to the hospital to visit his grandmother on his own, and he even shared a picture of his driver’s license in the group chat with the other two.
Shen Nanli had already returned to Wuzhen early on, while Shang Jia’s home was in Beishi, so she asked Xu Yan to drive her around for a joyride.
After driving around for quite a while, the two of them went to Shang Jia’s small studio.
Shang Jia’s Taobao store and account were doing incredibly well now, and she could afford to hire professional models.
After showing Xu Yan some pictures of those models, she suddenly asked,
“Have you worn a skirt again since then?”
Xu Yan’s face instantly turned bright red.
Not only had he worn one, sometimes he’d be made to wear several in a single night.
He had no idea where Wen Sinian got all those skirts from.
No matter how many he tore, there was always another one ready to go.
Shang Jia rummaged through boxes and pulled out several creatively designed, oddly styled skirts, displaying them one by one.
“These aren’t for sale, just some personal designs I’ve been playing with,” she said.
“But no one’s been able to give me the look I envisioned. Yanyan, if you’re free today, can you try some on for me? Like before, I just want to take a few photos.”
Seeing Xu Yan hesitate, Shang Jia whipped out her ultimate move, grabbing his arm and shaking it dramatically.
“Please, Yanyan, pleaseeeeee. Just help me try them on, okay? You’re my muse! I get a burst of creative inspiration every time I see you! Pretty please?”
Xu Yan had no choice but to give in.
Why did she sound exactly like Lin Xingxian, claiming to get creative sparks just from looking at him?
He went to change into the dress, and Shang Jia gasped in admiration when she saw him.
She immediately grabbed her camera and started posing him and snapping pictures.
“This one has a bit of ethnic flair, very androgynous style, it’s all about blurring gender. Your flat chest and slim legs are perfect,” she said while editing the photos.
“Can I post this on my alt account? It barely has any followers. I’ve been thinking, if my Taobao shop ever fails, maybe I’ll just become a professional photographer instead.”
Xu Yan looked at her alt, only around a hundred followers—and saw that it was filled with old model photos.
He nodded and agreed, “As long as my face isn’t shown.”
Shang Jia replied, “Of course not. Don’t you trust my skills?”
Xu Yan also asked her for the original photos, and then sent them to Wen Sinian, asking what he thought.
The reply came instantly:
[Husband]: So beautiful, baby.
[Husband]: Can we buy the dress?
[Dumb Baby]: Nope, it’s my senior’s own design. Not for sale.
[Husband]: Not even if I offer more money? Any price is fine.
[Husband]: Buy it and wear it again for me tonight.
Seeing him get more and more outrageous, Xu Yan quickly typed back:
[Dumb Baby]: Aren’t you supposed to be in a meeting? Why are you sneaking a peek at your phone?
[Dumb Baby]: cat pointing meme.gif
Wen Sinian sent back a photo from an extremely concealed angle, pointing at a very specific place.
[Husband]: I’m too turned on to finish the meeting because of you.
Xu Yan’s face burned.
Can’t finish the meeting… or something else can’t go down?
Flustered, he locked his phone and didn’t reply.

Wen Sinian was scheduled to go on a business trip in the next few days.
A big overseas game company wanted to discuss collaboration with their studio, mainly because of the gold medal Wen Sinian had won at an international competition.
They hoped to invite someone from the team to their headquarters for further talks.
The company’s HQ was in New York, and the trip would last at least five or six days.
Wen Sinian asked Zheng Yao to book the ticket, wanting to get things done as quickly as possible.
He originally wanted to bring Xu Yan along, Xu Yan had never been abroad, and it would’ve been a good chance to take him sightseeing.
But Xu Yan hadn’t gotten a passport yet, and the visa would take too long to process.
Plus, Xu Yan was still worried about his grandmother, so they had to drop the idea.
While Wen Sinian was away, Xu Yan stayed home alone and inevitably got bored.
Lin Xingxian came over to keep him company.
At first, Xu Yan hadn’t thought much about the photo Shang Jia posted on her alt.
But apparently, he had some kind of natural viral constitution, because that photo blew up again, millions of likes.
Coincidentally, Lin Xingxian saw it while scrolling and, unsurprisingly, was stunned.
After carefully comparing it multiple times, he confirmed, this was definitely his long-lost “goddess.”
Absolutely ecstatic, Lin Xingxian was just about to DM the account when he suddenly noticed something strange: The person in the photo… seemed to be wearing a ring.
And the more he looked at it, the more familiar that ring seemed.
Meanwhile, Xu Yan was sitting beside him, casually eating a slice of pizza in one hand and flipping through TV channels with the remote in the other.
Lin Xingxian widened his eyes and gave Xu Yan a thorough scan from head to toe.
Why… why did he suddenly feel that Xu Yan looked exactly like the “goddess” in the photo?
