FSGOR Ch91 – ABO1
by 707Bang—
A fist slammed into the old television—maybe a little too forcefully—but it worked. The buzzing static sound finally stopped.
The snowy screen of static transformed from scattered pixels into horizontal lines, then eventually cleared to reveal a proper image, broadcasting the current state of the war on the frontlines.
Several tall, handsome young men sat gathered in the dim confines of a slum home. The lighting was poor; only the faint glow from the TV illuminated their faces.
“Tian-Ge…”
The one who spoke was Lu Qiao, an alpha with spiky blond hair as explosive as his personality. He was the one responsible for punching the TV.
He continued, “Do you think the Marshal is still alive?”
Because of his question, the others turned to look at Jiang Tian. Also an alpha, he was calm and steady in temperament, with a sharp, heroic appearance. His judgment often felt like divine instruction.
“I don’t know.”
Jiang Tian lowered his eyes, the tightness in his chest hard to ignore. He got up and walked toward the door. “I’m going out for some air. I’ll contact you if anything comes up.”
He pushed open the makeshift door of the shack, the stench of stale, enclosed air wafting past his nose. He stepped onto the narrow pathway that led out into the faint light beyond.
He lived deep within the slums, located underground. It was perpetually dark, built from abandoned machines and other scrap material. The conditions were only slightly better than a bomb shelter—not exactly livable.
Before the war broke out, Jiang Tian had lived in a proper home with his parents and sister. They were ordinary residents of this planet, Haitang Star.
When war came, his family escaped to a more distant, safer planet. Haitang Star, now a war zone, was nothing like its former self—death and ruin were everywhere.
He and his friends had only just come of age. They remained here because they had originally passed the entrance exam to the central city academy, where they were to study mech engineering and piloting.
But one battle after another destroyed the school. For all kinds of reasons, their education was interrupted.
These high-achieving young men were now unable to attend school. All they could do was stay on this war-torn planet, listening to sparse updates from the central star and waiting for orders—hoping to someday return to a normal life.
But a few days ago, news from the frontlines announced that the undefeated Marshal had gone missing—likely killed in battle, a fallen star.
“…”
Jiang Tian felt particularly awful.
Even if he tried not to show it, his chest felt tight and suffocating. Unsure how to distract himself, he decided to walk to the outskirts of the ruined city.
There, at the old site of Haitang Star Academy—though it had been reduced to rubble by ship wreckage—he still wanted to take a look. Better than hiding in a lightless slum all day.
He hated the endless waiting.
The night was quiet.
Stars filled the sky in countless numbers, lighting the land like beacons, as if to guide lost children toward dawn.
Jiang Tian walked alone in silence, when suddenly he stopped—on the vast, barren land, he heard a faint electronic sound.
Beep—
Beep, beep—
It sounded like a mech’s self-destruct countdown.
The noise wasn’t exactly familiar, but Jiang Tian had heard similar alerts in simulation training. If his judgment was correct, it meant a newer model mech had crash-landed nearby.
If it had crashed accidentally, none of them in the area could’ve missed the commotion. So there was only one possibility left—the mech had been deliberately piloted to land on this remote planet.
Which meant—
The pilot inside might still be alive.
“?!”
Jiang Tian could no longer remain calm. He quickly rushed toward the source of the sound.
As he approached, the barren wasteland and wreckage gave way to a sleeping mech lying in silence.
“!!!”
Jiang Tian dared not act rashly. He looked around, scanning the quiet night. There was no sign of an ambush.
He cautiously moved forward to assess the situation.
Logically, he could have just used his wristband to contact his friends or report the incident to the planetary authorities with a single tap.
But something inside him didn’t trust anyone else. He had to see it with his own eyes.
He had to know exactly who the pilot inside was.
The closer he got, the more he was struck speechless by the mech’s appearance. It was massive, matte black, with sharp, angular contours—like obsidian, emanating fierce heat even in its ruined state.
Jiang Tian took a deep breath to steady his pounding heart. Following his simulator training, he pried open the emergency hatch and shut off the auto-destruct sequence.
His movements were swift and light. He leapt onto the mech’s landing panel and used his elbow to shatter the glass with a loud crash, flipping himself inside in a single motion.
He rose from the broken glass.
Then his pupils shrank.
In the cockpit was a black-haired alpha clad in military armor, appearing as if peacefully asleep.
His head hung slightly, blood streaked his face—but none of it could hide how strikingly handsome he was. He exuded a righteous, awe-inspiring air. No way was he an ordinary mech pilot.
Jiang Tian thought, He must be a decorated officer—someone who’s dominated the battlefield with unrivaled might.
He even wondered for a moment—Could this man be the missing Marshal?
But then he noticed the ID card near the man’s military boots. Thanks to his decent eyesight, he saw the name printed there. Clearly, it wasn’t Marshal Chu.
Fu…
So this officer’s name is Fu Boxi?
Jiang Tian stepped closer and saw that the photo on the ID was smeared with blood. It was impossible to confirm the man’s identity.
There wasn’t time to think further. He approached the alpha officer, reached out with a finger to check his breathing, and confirmed that he was still alive.
He decided to carry the man home.
The war wasn’t over, and due to certain internal conflicts, Jiang Tian and his friends suspected there was a traitor on the planet. Otherwise, they wouldn’t be left hanging like this.
Jiang Tian had learned basic first aid. He figured he’d save the man first, then ask questions later to decide their next steps.
Maybe—this officer needs his help to survive. Maybe they could find the Marshal together. Maybe they could save the entire interstellar alliance.
***
Late that night.
None of the friends in the slums knew when Jiang Tian returned.
They had no idea his room now held an unconscious alpha in full military uniform.
The officer had suffered serious injuries and remained in a coma, taking up space on Jiang Tian’s couch.
Jiang Tian rummaged under his bed for a medical kit. Inside was a high-priced miracle drug he had bought long ago. On this resource-starved, remote planet, not everyone had access to such medicine.
The young man poured a glass of water and helped the other take the medicine, sensing that the Alpha’s breathing was gradually stabilizing.
He knew the proper dosage and decided not to give him another pill. If things went well, the officer would sleep through the night and wake up at dawn—ready to explain the battle’s details and help the alliance locate the missing Marshal.
But the man frowned and clenched his jaw, unwilling to take a second dose no matter what.
Jiang Tian: “…”
Wasn’t everything fine just now?
He had no choice. If the officer subconsciously resisted, he couldn’t force him. Since his life wasn’t in immediate danger, other solutions could wait.
However—
Just as he tried to stand up and put the special medicine back into its box beneath the bed, the Alpha lying on the couch suddenly grabbed his wrist.
Jiang Tian was yanked back down, nearly falling into the man’s arms. The medicine bottle in his hand almost flew out: “?!”
What the hell is he doing?
Jiang Tian sighed. His body was pinned down and not easy to break free from. He could only remain held at the waist while trying to tuck the medicine back into the box.
After that, he attempted to pry the Alpha’s hand away, intending to go take a shower and sleep.
“Who are you?”
A deep, gravelly voice exploded behind him.
Jiang Tian froze—not just because the voice was magnetic and intimidating, but also because he felt the cold muzzle of a gun pressing into his lower back.
Jiang Tian: “…”
‘I saved you, and you’re pointing a gun at me? Does this guy even have a conscience?!’
Even for someone usually calm and mature, Jiang Tian couldn’t completely suppress the flare of irritation that came with being treated like this. He said coldly, “The person who saved you.”
And he still has an attitude.
The mature Alpha who had awakened on the couch narrowed his eyes. Even though his head ached and his body felt like it had been smashed to pieces, he still had enough strength to suppress the young man before him.
Just from their brief exchange, he could tell that the boy didn’t mean him harm.
Chu Xuyu put the gun away. He wasn’t even embarrassed. Instead, he offered a calm thank-you: “That was a test just now.”
“You passed.”
Jiang Tian understood, but was still speechless. He replied flatly, “I also have something to say.”
From Chu Xuyu’s angle, the young man’s shoulders were broad, his back radiated resilience and strength.
His tone was steady and grounded—clearly still a youth, but already carrying a presence that matched a Federal soldier’s bearing. It was impressive.
And then—
The young man turned around. He had striking features, a refined and handsome face. His gaze was calm, as though life had grown from within shattered ruins.
Chu Xuyu’s breath caught. “…”
This kid is really good-looking.
Could he be… not an Alpha, but an Omega with a rare, almost magnetic allure? How else could he be this attractive?
Just moments ago, the atmosphere was tense and hostile. But upon seeing that face, the officer’s expression softened.
Jiang Tian noticed something was off and frowned slightly. “Why are you staring at me?”
He used honorifics because the man was wearing an interstellar officer’s combat uniform. As a soldier who safeguarded peace, an Alpha like him naturally deserved respect.
But—
Why was he staring at him with such strange eyes?
Chu Xuyu: “Your face.”
He pushed back his bangs, eyes still locked onto him, and asked in a low voice: “Are you an Alpha or an Omega?”
Hearing that—
Jiang Tian’s mind went blank. It felt like someone had just messed with him. He replied firmly, “Of course I’m an Alpha.”
No one had ever questioned that before. He had no idea what this man was thinking to ask something so odd.
Either he was messing around, or—more likely—he was too injured to pick up on pheromones properly. Jiang Tian chose to believe the latter.
And Chu Xuyu was indeed injured. Though the symptoms were severe, they weren’t related to pheromones—his issues lay elsewhere.
“…”
After a few more exchanges, Jiang Tian began to feel something was off. This Alpha seemed like he had a lot of secrets. He couldn’t even remember his own name.
Chu Xuyu: “I might have amnesia.”
Jiang Tian almost choked. “Amnesia?”
“Mm.” Chu Xuyu responded with indifference. “Amnesia’s not so bad. A lot of people die in interstellar battles—you know that.”
Jiang Tian fell silent. Of course he knew. But the problem was, this Alpha didn’t seem like an ordinary officer. He had hoped the man might help locate the missing Marshal.
Could it be…
He’d have to continue waiting in the dark? Again?
Jiang Tian was clearly disappointed. To a regular officer, it might seem like the boy had ulterior motives.
Like maybe he’d gotten close for some secret purpose, and now amnesia had blocked him from achieving it.
But Chu Xuyu wasn’t a regular officer. Even with amnesia, he had an intuition about his unique identity—and didn’t want the youth to figure it out just yet. He let out a low chuckle: “You seem disappointed?”
Jiang Tian didn’t want to say anything demoralizing to someone who was still recovering. “No. It’s late. You can rest here tonight. I’ll report this in the morning…”
But Chu Xuyu didn’t show any intention of sleeping. His deep black eyes stared fixedly, as if something was brewing.
Jiang Tian stuttered slightly, asking, “Is there something else?”
Chu Xuyu: “Help me keep it a secret.”
Jiang Tian: “Huh?”
Chu Xuyu: “For now, we don’t know if the department you’re reporting to is trustworthy.”
Jiang Tian paused: “But I can’t take you in forever.”
Chu Xuyu: “You can.”
Jiang Tian: “…”
“Why would you think I’d take you in?”
Chu Xuyu straightened up slightly, his entire body aching as if it had fallen apart. He raised a hand to rub his left shoulder, then leaned over flirtatiously: “I want to take a shower.”
Jiang Tian: “…………”
‘Are you kidding me?’
Chu Xuyu looked serious and sighed. “Even though I’ve lost my memory, I remember that I probably have OCD. I haven’t showered in a long time.”
Jiang Tian clenched his fist, starting to suspect he’d picked up a debt collector instead of a soldier. But there was nothing he could do. The other party was an officer—seemed like he was going to cling to him.
“You can only barely clean yourself,” Jiang Tian said, rubbing his forehead. “I’ll go get you some hot water.”
There weren’t proper bathing conditions here. Jiang Tian even suspected the Alpha just wanted to get him out of the house—maybe looking for a chance to run off. After all, he didn’t seem to fully trust him.
However, when Jiang Tian returned with hot water and a clean towel, he found that Chu Xuyu was still there.
Sitting on the old, worn-out sofa, the Alpha had taken off his uniform, baring a strong, muscular upper body—tight and defined abs fully on display—
It was the kind of physique that any Alpha would envy.
Jiang Tian was no exception. He instinctively turned his head away, clearly uncomfortable: “…”
And Chu Xuyu, who was glancing over at that moment, noticed his reaction and subtly curled his lips into a smile.
The room was quiet. Even the Alpha’s faint chuckle was heard clearly by Jiang Tian, who couldn’t help but ask, “What’s so funny?”
Chu Xuyu: “Nothing.”
He suppressed the smile and added sincerely, “You’re kind of cute.”
Jiang Tian: “…?”
This guy is really weird.
Jiang Tian couldn’t be bothered to argue. He set down the water basin and towel and moved toward the bed, not wanting to talk anymore.
But the Alpha’s eyes followed him, and with a slightly pleading tone said, “I’m seriously injured… it’s hard to do things by myself.”
Jiang Tian: “…Fine.”
He was just too soft-hearted. The once-fierce Alpha officer only had to act a little pitiful, and Jiang Tian was already helping without holding a grudge.
The handsome, well-mannered young Alpha had always been obedient and detail-oriented at home—sweet and gentle, almost like an innocent puppy that drew affection.
Because Jiang Tian didn’t refuse, Chu Xuyu raised his face and stared intently at the youth coming closer, appreciating his striking features up close.
As an interstellar officer who had always been focused solely on combat, Chu Xuyu couldn’t help but tease again: “So skilled.”
“Did you used to help your boyfriend bathe too?”
At that, Jiang Tian’s hand jolted. The fingers lifting the officer’s shoulder suddenly clenched tighter—he might’ve hurt him without realizing it. “Please don’t joke about that.”
Just when he thought the Alpha would cry out or scold him for being too rough—
The man leaned in closer, his magnetic voice brushing Jiang Tian’s ear:
“Why are you so cute?”
“If only you were an omega.”
“I’d probably want to pin you down and f* you.”**
