FSGOR Ch90 – Extra12
by 707The villa where Chu Xuyu spent his childhood carried both good and bad memories. Especially after recurring nightmares, waves of uncontrollable emotion would rise within him.
But Jiang Tian’s presence had changed all of that.
Whether that nightmare was real or not no longer mattered—because even in the worst corners of that dream, Jiang Tian appeared beside him, quietly staying by his side, leading him out of the shadows.
The painted murals in the attic library reflected like mirrored light, showing the boy’s current appearance.
Jiang Tian, dressed in a maid outfit, had to bite down on the hem of the long skirt, a seemingly subconscious action.
Chu Xuyu insisted on admiring how adorable he looked in the dress, asking how well he’d cleaned the old house, and teasing how long he’d been working here.
“……”
Jiang Tian wasn’t even sure what kind of roleplay this was supposed to be.
But seeing a tall, handsome guy over 180 cm in height wearing a maid outfit—with his cool, pale skin blushing like ivy quickly spreading—it really was impossibly cute.
Hearing Chu Xuyu’s compliments grow increasingly bold, Jiang Tian lowered his gaze and noticed the man’s burning eyes staring blatantly at his toned abs: “Finished staring?”
As he loosened his bite on the skirt, the heavy hem fell.
Chu Xuyu chuckled, leaned in for a kiss, exuding pressure, murmuring near his ear:
“Still distracted?”
Displeased by Jiang Tian’s wandering focus, he teased, “Still thinking about your task?”
Chu Xuyu demanded a lot, playing the rich young master as he nibbled on Jiang Tian’s ear and teased the ‘puppy maid’ with words:
“Didn’t you dress like this just to seduce me?”
“The skirt fits so perfectly…”
“Seems like you’ve been waiting for me to take care of you for a long time now.”
The more Jiang Tian listened, the more he realized this script was completely off-track. He tried to make him stop, but under Chu Xuyu’s coaxing, his ears flushed red, and he ended up leaning into the intimacy willingly.
Inside the shared mental landscape—
Under the guise of “completing the mission and increasing compatibility,” the spoiled rich young master did as he pleased with his little puppy. There was no line he wouldn’t cross.
However, Jiang Tian had his limits. Once the task hit 200% completion, the system sounded its notification, and he instantly sobered up.
Chu Xuyu: “?”
Jiang Tian: “Looks like the task’s complete.”
When they exited the shared spiritual world—
Jiang Tian acted even more suspiciously. With dawn just breaking, he didn’t dare pull out the notebook in front of Chu Xuyu, afraid the man would notice he only cared about task progress.
Feigning affection, he reached out to kiss him—demanding the man close his eyes—only to grab his notebook mid-kiss and check the progress. Confirming the numbers met the target, he pulled away immediately.
Chu Xuyu: “???”
“What are you doing?”
The domineering CEO finally lost his patience. He flipped Jiang Tian onto the bed and voiced his frustrations, demanding to know if he was just being used as a tool to complete a task.
Knock knock—
A knock came from outside.
“Xiao Tian,” his mother asked with concern, “Mom heard some noise. Did Qiao’er come over to play?”
Jiang Tian almost jumped off the bed.
Just as he was about to explain, Chu Xuyu—petty and vengeful—pinned him down and kissed him hard.
Jiang Tian: “?!”
What is wrong with this guy?!
The two of them wrestled under the covers. Jiang Tian, worried about making noise or hurting anyone, covered his mouth and shouted toward the door: “Mom!”
“Lu Qiao didn’t come.”
“I just had a nightmare, that’s all.”
His mom sighed with relief, but still wanted to come in and check on him.
Jiang Tian panicked and quickly added, “I didn’t sleep well. I’m going back to bed for a bit. I have to head to training later.”
Hearing that, his mother gave up on coming in and went to make breakfast instead, urging him to eat before heading out so he wouldn’t go hungry.
Once her footsteps faded, Chu Xuyu’s wolf ears disappeared.
From his eyes, Jiang Tian could also tell that his own puppy ears had vanished—and the quantum beasts that had accompanied them for days were nowhere to be seen.
Lying on the bed, Chu Xuyu stared at him, frustrated: “Now that the mission’s done, are you going to dump me?”
“……”
Jiang Tian said softly, “That’s not what I meant. I didn’t use you.”
Chu Xuyu pressed closer: “Then what did you mean?”
The implication was obvious—this rich and powerful CEO wanted a place in Jiang Tian’s high school world.
“You like me?”
He pinched Jiang Tian’s cheek and asked, “Or not?”
Normally, Jiang Tian would’ve been too shy and avoided the question.
But this time, he didn’t. Breathing steadily, he met Chu Xuyu’s gaze head-on and accepted the emotion thrown his way.
“I already said,”
Jiang Tian pursed his lips, voice soft but resolute, “I don’t… do those things with someone I’m not in a confirmed relationship with.”
Chu Xuyu raised an eyebrow and cut in, “So what you’re saying is… love at first sight?”
Jiang Tian: “……”
This guy really knows how to latch onto the main point. Jiang Tian was still hesitating, but the answer had already been declared, leaving him a little flustered.
Still, he had to admit: Chu Xuyu definitely fit his taste. Even if he couldn’t say it out loud, the other man understood—and that mutual understanding felt like a kind of bond.
He promised himself: he wouldn’t just run off after finishing the task.
“Mm.”
Chu Xuyu smiled and kissed the side of his face like a reward. “I knew you were the sweetest.”
Jiang Tian smiled back, “Thanks, ge.”
“No need for thanks,” Chu Xuyu chuckled. “Sweetheart baby.”
Jiang Tian: “……”
Where did this man even learn that weird nickname?
Taking advantage of the moment when his mom left the kitchen and returned to chat with his dad, Jiang Tian knew they had to act fast. If they stayed any longer, someone would find out.
He rushed Chu Xuyu to change clothes and led him out of the house. Standing by the elevator, he said:
“Ge, even if there’s no task, I’ll still come find you. You don’t have to worry.”
Looking at the impeccably dressed man—who still carried the scent of their bond—Chu Xuyu’s heart swelled.
From that day on, Jiang Tian and Chu Xuyu officially became a couple. Two people who otherwise would’ve never crossed paths had their fates changed by that sudden, mysterious notebook.
Now that the mission was complete, the little couple had learned to control their ears, and even the appearance and disappearance of their quantum beasts would now respond to their will.
But—
Sometimes, unexpected things happened.
With only a few days left before the college entrance exams, Jiang Tian was training with his team on the field. Everyone had changed into their uniforms and left the locker room.
He was still slowly changing his shoes, pulling on his long athletic socks, when his phone on the bench rang—it was the special ringtone he had set for his lover.
At that moment—
He wasn’t particularly busy, so he answered, only to realize it was a video call.
On the screen, Chu Xuyu appeared in a sharp suit, holding the phone and shifting it slightly to the left. A border collie pup stuck its tongue out and lay obediently on the desk, letting the man do whatever he pleased.
Jiang Tian chuckled. “Ge, stop doing bad things.”
“Hm?”
Chu Xuyu feigned ignorance, curling his finger to scratch the puppy’s chin. “Come have dinner with me today?”
At that same instant—
Jiang Tian, still in the locker room, felt a shiver run through his body, like an electric current had surged through him. He let out a low gasp: “…Mn.”
Chu Xuyu’s eyes lit up, and he asked deliberately, “What’s wrong?”
“You know what,” Jiang Tian muttered, gripping his phone tightly, ears red. He peeked at the door and said, “Aren’t you afraid I’ll touch your tail too?”
He meant the quantum beast. That one that always showed up around him—every time it did, it meant his lover had fallen helplessly hard for him.
Of course, that was something Chu Xuyu had said himself. Jiang Tian thought he was being way too dramatic.
He didn’t believe himself to be so great as to make a CEO from a vastly different world fall for him this hard.
But later, he had a dream—not a nightmare, but a world opposite of reality—where he and Chu Xuyu were also in love.
That dream helped him understand the reason behind Chu Xuyu’s feelings for him, and made him decide to also make changes for this relationship.
For instance—
Even though Chu Xuyu was good to him, his needs were high. Despite Jiang Tian being reserved and slow to warm up, as long as it didn’t interfere with his studies, he was always willing to meet those needs.
After soccer practice, all the shower stalls were full. Some teammates were singing loudly; others were chatting.
Still in his soccer uniform, Jiang Tian got a video call from Chu Xuyu. Embarrassed as he was, he obediently answered.
The phone rested on the shelf, the camera pointed at his upper body, cropped right at the abs. He had absolutely no intention of lowering it.
But Chu Xuyu pestered him, petting the puppy’s head and body on his side of the screen. Jiang Tian, being its real-world counterpart, could feel the effects. The man’s voice echoed through the Bluetooth earphones, low and magnetic:
“Baby…”
“I know you’ve always been such a good boy.”
Jiang Tian was too mortified to speak.
Even though his lover wasn’t physically there, the quantum beast was under his control. Unconsciously, hearing Chu Xuyu praise him for being obedient and cute, and teasing how he got such a great body, made his ears burn.
He didn’t reply to that shameless question.
And yet, the commands Chu Xuyu issued to the beast had an unexpected effect. Jiang Tian closed his eyes and felt the large hands doing something to the puppy ears—something far gentler than anything programmed before.
Meanwhile, Chu Xuyu, still in his office with a meeting coming up, smirked proudly. He loosened his tie and continued speaking in a dangerously smooth voice:
“Your fingers are so long…”
“Want to kiss them…”
“Baby…”
“I really want to see you now.”
The whole time, Jiang Tian kept his lips tightly sealed, even suppressing the sound of his own breathing.
But the sweet nothings never stopped. At the moment he regained some clarity, he accidentally hit the shower lever with his elbow, masking his involuntary, flustered reaction.
“………”
Yeah, this couldn’t go on like this.
From that point on, Jiang Tian started pacing himself more, explaining that he couldn’t always meet his lover’s needs—he was preparing for the entrance exam, after all.
Though in reality, he had already secured early admission to Peking University. That unspoken secret didn’t help much anymore.
Still, he tried using the same trick back.
He copied Chu Xuyu’s tactic—while the man was in a video conference, Jiang Tian kept stroking the gray wolf tail of the quantum beast.
It was soft and smooth, like the puppy tail, but fluffed slightly upon touch.
A sentinel’s quantum beast reflected their emotional state. Pretending to resist but secretly enjoying it—it was just so obvious.
The CEO, in a meeting with senior executives, barely held himself together until it ended. Then he immediately tackled Jiang Tian onto the couch.
Jiang Tian: “???”
Chu Xuyu had already become skilled at undressing him. He laughed, “Did you think I’d be as easily embarrassed as you?”
Jiang Tian: “Huh?”
Chu Xuyu smirked. “I just took it as you seducing me.”
Jiang Tian: “…………”
So now you’re going to be more of a perv?
Fine.
Let’s just keep going down this twisted road, then.
As the flowering season of crabapple trees quietly came to a close, that year’s college entrance exam also wrapped up.
***
During the vacation—
The two grew even more inseparable. At Chu Xuyu’s request, Jiang Tian moved in for more than half a month.
Because Chu Xuyu was extremely clingy, and Jiang Tian, as his exclusive guide, couldn’t stay away for too long. Every time he didn’t return home, he had to come up with more creative excuses.
Still, he went home occasionally. Smart and well-behaved since childhood, he didn’t think his parents would grow suspicious.
He had planned to slowly come clean—but what he didn’t expect was for all the evidence to suddenly be laid bare.
For some reason, when that damned dog notebook was flipped to a later page, it displayed photos of him and Chu Xuyu at every meeting: from their time at the Oak Club, to being spotted at the mall, to pickups and drop-offs downstairs, and even at home.
His relationship with the older, mature man was now fully exposed to his family.
In the living room, his sister was also present, her expression a mix of surprise and recognition—she clearly knew the man in the photos was her boss.
Jiang Tian clearly panicked. His voice came out hoarse: “I… he and I…”
However, their parents and sister didn’t press for more details. They simply asked him to confirm:
“Xiao Tian, are you and President Chu in a serious relationship?”
Jiang Tian nodded without hesitation. “Yes.”
And because of that answer, a scene he never imagined unfolded.
His parents and sister didn’t scold him. Instead, they trusted him completely and asked when this President Chu would be free to come over for a meal—just to chat and enjoy a homemade dinner together.
In truth—
It didn’t matter to them whether their son’s partner was male or female, or what age. As long as they were truly in love, his parents weren’t the kind of unreasonable people to object.
All they needed to confirm was that the person genuinely loved their Xiao Tian.
Though it was never explicitly said, over the past few months, it hadn’t only been Jiang Tian having nightmares—his parents had them too.
In those dreams, they saw their two children depending on each other, struggling through life.
They always woke up in tears.
That very morning, both parents had woken from nightmares. They went to check on both Jiang Tian and Jiang Jing. The strange sounds they claimed to hear were just an excuse.
But luckily—
Those dreams didn’t come true.
Now they could love and protect their two understanding children, and witness them finding their own happiness.
At that moment, Jiang’s mother held her children’s hands and said with deep emotion:
“I don’t know why, but your sister didn’t like that man from the matchmaking.”
“And in the end…”
“It turned out he really was a bad guy!”
“Love needs fate.”
“Mom and Dad will always love you, support you, and trust your judgment.”
The siblings were both choked up, though they held back their tears. But Jiang Tian’s father couldn’t help it—he grabbed a chili pepper and cried his eyes out, making everyone laugh.
A family gathered in peace is the happiest thing of all.
Jiang Tian felt a huge weight lift from his shoulders. He thanked his parents and sister with a gentle smile.
“I’ll bring him home sometime.”
“Ge takes good care of me.”
“We’ve been doing great, so you don’t need to worry.”
