Chapter 25 – Shen Meow

 

Shen Qianqian moved on the road without delay, and soon returned to the welfare home. After he got into the fence hole, several handymen were picking up steaming tin buckets to go to the cafeteria, happily not yet having breakfast.

 

Shen Qianqian sneaked into the dormitory building, and the passage was full of children washing in the basin. He slipped back to the dormitory and yelled at the children in the room, “Wow!

 

“I was scared.”

” I was also taken aback by him.”

Shen Qianqian: “Huh!

“You’re still coming, too!”

“Ho!

“Ho ho!”

“Ho ho!”

Shen Qianqian jumped forward, holding his hands to his ears to make a paw shape: “Bow wow wow wow…… “

The other children followed suit: “Bow wow, wow, wow……”

 

“Chen Hongliang, have you already washed? Why is it noisy there? All of your dormitory classmates should be washed up, and they should be checked one by one.” The sound of a pipe came from the other end of the channel.

 

The children stopped and began to chatter.

 

“Last night, I came to the door, and Lin Duozhi helped spread the quilt, but you didn’t show up.”

“Is your brother still sick?”

“He’s not dead, is he?”

“It’s almost time for breakfast, do you still want to eat?”

“Did you bring a baby?”

 

Shen Qianqian replied to them one by one. His brother is sick, but he is not dead. He wants to eat, and he has not picked up the new garbage today. And he will bring the baby after he picks it up. Finally, he told about the ghost last night.

 

“I am telling you to wash your face and brush your teeth. We are going to go first before Wang Zhusheng and his brother go in the water room.” Chen Hongliang ran out with a tuk in his heart.

Wang Xiaoxi said too happily: “This is what Yu Datou did, he robbed it, he was all sentry, and he will definitely be caught by the enemy.”

Yu Datou took his thin hand: “Go.”

“Okay, let’s go too.”

 

Shen Qianqian made his way from the bed and dragged out his small basin. He put toiletries and two kettles in. There was also boiling water in the water room, and he wanted to fill both pots with water, so that he could go to Mixin Town to fetch water.

 

When he thought of Mixin Town, he remembered those terrible experiences last night, and couldn’t help but shudder.

 

Yu Datou and Wang Xiaoxiao soon appeared at the door again: “Now, let’s go.”

Chen Hongliang also ran back: “Wang Zhusheng and his brother are not in the water room, they must have gone to the cafeteria.”

 

“Who? Who? Who’s calling  ? Wang Zhusheng’s voice sounded at the other end of the corridor.

 

The children were afraid of his brother and him, so they also took a small basin to the water room to wash.

 

There are not many people in the water room, and when Shen Qianqian appeared behind several other people to drill into the water room, he was grabbed by the pipe with one hand.

 

“Why are you so dirty?” The manager  looked incredulous, “Didn’t you wash your face last night? Or did you roll on the ground in the middle of the night?”

 

The children were nervous, but Tang Yuanyuan said, “He,-he sleepwalks.”

 

Tang Yuanyuan squeezed his eyes, immediately comprehended, closed his eyes wittily, and groped in front of him with both hands: “It seems that he is about to start dreaming again, and he is already dreaming. Manager Chen.”

 

The manager didn’t listen to their nonsense, but he also heard Manager Chen’s name, so he asked again as he lets go of Shen Qianqian’s outstretched hand: “Go and wash your face and hands. If you want to be dirty, you won’t be able to eat in the canteen.”

 

Shen Qianqian brushed his teeth, washed his face and his hands very quickly, rubbing vigorously on his face, resulting in it turning red. But he didn’t have time for his mouth, and he stopped muttering about last night’s experience to a few children.

 

“Brother wants to drink water, but there is no water, guess where I went?” When the children answered, he immediately revealed the answer: “That’s right, I went to Mixin Town.” 

 

The children covered their mouths and exclaimed with restraint but excitement.

 

“Wow!”

“Wow!”

“Wow!!”

 

“Wash well, what are you wowing about?” The tube shouted at the door.

 

Shen Qianqian rubbed his face and said in a soft voice: “He may want to eat me…… Whew……  How is it possible to let him eat me…… I pretended not to attack, but actually I was about to stab him with an iron rod……”

 

Lin Duozhi helped him to clean the two kettles, fill them with boiling water, tighten the lid and hang it on him.

 

After Shen Qianqian put the basin back in the dormitory, he was surrounded by several children and went to the cafeteria together.

 

Outside the canteen, Shen Qianqian walks with the small class team in the canteen, talking about his own experience. Around him, a group of children who were nervous to listen, and even a few little girls from Liu Sijin’s group stood aside. They couldn’t stop sobbing for cool air.

 

“You come out, you know that I am here.” He grabs the broom from the door, points in front of him and whispers. He looked left to right to find him with fierce eyes.

 

Wang Zhusheng and his brother were in front of him in the distance, and he was talking to Wang Zhusheng with a fierce expression. Wang Zhusheng was also afraid, and he was going to howl and play tricks on his brother.

 

“I just made an iron ring for you before, where can I find you a steel ball car now?”

” I want a steel ball car,  I want an iron ring, 

 

Wang Zhusheng and his brother just want this side, and 

he seems to have forgotten what happened before, and he stayed. But Shen Qianqian  still maintained the posture of poking forward with a broom, let him come, and then showed a sudden appearance. Anger rose in his eyes.

 

“What are you talking about?”

 

Several children were still urging Shen Qianqian when Wang Zhusheng and his brother came menacingly. They were suddenly frightened by a bunch of quails.

 

Wang Zhusheng and his brother grabbed Shen Qianqian by the collar and lifted his feet off the ground: “What do you want to do?”

 

Shen Qianqian’s mind went blank for a while. He stared at the person in front of him and repeated mechanically to him: “What do you want to do?”

 

Wang Zhusheng and his brother obviously had a kind of provocation, and after being stunned for a second, his expression became fierce.

 

” What do I want to do?  I want to kill you!”

 

Wang Zhusheng and his brother pushed out towards the rear. Although they did not push far, Shen Qianqian barely managed to stand steadily. He took a few steps back, hit the leg of the dining table, and then fell to the ground. The two kettles on his body made a thudding sound on the ground.

 

Shen Qianqian stood as if nothing had happened. He then secretly grimaced, saying that he was fine. Although he didn’t let it go in his heart and he was hit lightly, he lied on the ground and was in severe pain.

 

“Shen Qianqian was beaten to death by Wang Zhusheng and his brother!” Lin Duozhi suddenly let out a scream.

 

There was no management in the cafeteria, and the other children all gathered in small groups. No one noticed what was happening here. When Lindo’s scream sounded, the cafeteria suddenly fell silent and everyone came over.

 

Liu Sijin pointed to Shen Qianqian to complain to her sister: “Wang Zhusheng threw Shen Qianqian to death!”

 

Wang Zhusheng was stunned for a moment and then yelled at Liu Sijin: “Who said that he fell to death?  I didn’t use any force. He hit the table by himself, okay? You fart, I’ll  beat you up!

 

“Wang Zhusheng, will you try to beat my sister?” Liu Zhen led a group of half-grown girls to surround them with a kind face.

 

“What’s the matter with beating her? Will your lice bite me to death?” Wang asked.

 

“You’re making me very mad,punish him!”

 

After a few words, Wang and the girls got together. The war quickly spread throughout the cafeteria, involving both middle and senior class students. While some of the junior students hid under their desks and corners.

 

“Shen Qianqian, Shen Qianqian, are you dead?” Lin Duozhi pointed to shake Shen Qianqian who was lying on the ground and his voice changed in fright. Shen Qianqian and moved, slowly raising his head, his face full of tears.

 

“You’re not dead.” Lindo was pleasantly surprised.

 

Shen Qianqian cried: ” I’m not dead…… Woo woo ……”

 

There were two senior students next to him who were rolling on the ground with their arms locked. Tang Yuanyuan, who had already hid on the table, came out again, and Shen Qianqian dragged him to the bottom of the table.

 

Shen Qianqian sat up slowly, crying while saying, ” You can beat away ghosts…… By whining…… But I guess that won’t work to real people….. “

 

“You’re going to be sad, if you keep crying.” Lin Duozhi’s fingers touched Shen Qianqian’s face.

 

“I’m really sad.” Shen Qianqian said, “If my brother is not sick, he will beat him to death.”

 

When he said the word “death”, it was heavy and fierce. Chen Hongliang made an attack gesture: “Okay, let’s find him, and we will attack him with mental power, but now we need a guide.”

 

“Then let’s give you mental guidance.” Tang Yuanyuan was afraid that Wang  Zhusheng would appear, so he turned his back and gestured.

 

Chen Hongliang: “You said you were a sentry last night.”

 

Tang Yuanyuan: ” Now I am the guide.”

 

“Oh, well-then.”
