Chu Ya didn’t know what he had just experienced, but the current situation did not allow him to ponder carefully. So he only slowly looked at everything around him by the light that came from outside.
Although the light was dim, it was obvious that the room was very simple and there were a lot of miscellaneous things. He was confused and wanted to sit up, but there was a sharp pain in his legs.
The pain spread rapidly from his leg to his whole body, causing him to have ringing in his ears and making every one of his nerves and muscles twitch. There are a lot of pictures in his mind- the cornfield in the heavy rain, running with his mother, and Gu Lin with his lips constantly opening and closing……
“My aunt and uncle are no longer here.”
“Xiaoya, you’re right. I killed them all. Your dear parents, I killed them. ”
……
Chu Ya clenched his teeth in pain. His hands clenched spasmodically. His eyes swirled endlessly, and the world was distorted and deformed as if he was forming a black hole that was about to devour him.
In the center of the black hole came a pair of deep beast pupils, shining with a cold green glow and whispered to him coaxingly: “Kill them, kill everyone, they all deserve to die……”
Yes, everyone deserve to die, kill them……
Chu Ya’s eyes were wild and a layer of black rose under his eyes, spreading from the pupil to the surroundings, gradually covering his entire eyeball.
“…… Haha, I am back, how could I be afraid of you? I’m just pretending to be afraid, haha……”
The child’s laughter suddenly came into his ears like a presumptuous wooden stick swinging in an orderly manner, washing those whispers into pieces. Chu Ya suddenly woke up, the world stopped twisting and spinning, and the beast roared unwillingly and quickly disappeared along with the black hole.
The black under Chu Ya’s eyes faded like a tide, making him look the same as usual, but because of his high fever, his face was flushed. However, his lips were chapped and white.
Shen Qianqian had already walked out of the passage and entered the garbage dump. His face was covered with sweat and white smoke was coming out of his head. But the panic had dissipated and his courage had grown.
“How could I be afraid of you? I pretend to be afraid, but I’m not afraid of ghosts at all.” Shen Qianqian, stretched out a foot to straddle the channel: “I’m coming……” He stared at the passage with his eyes and then retracted his foot: “I’m going ……”
“I’m coming again, I’m going again, I’m going again, I’m going ……” Shen Qianqian stretched his legs, laughed arrogantly, waved the iron rod towards the channel, and made an attack gesture: “Hahaha, I actually pretended just now. I’ve been attacking with mental power, you can’t think of it?”
Shen Qianqian walked to the tin house contentedly. Although he was not afraid now, he was too frightened just now and his body still had a cold war from time to time.
Before he stepped into the tin house, his voice came into the door first: “Brother, I met a ghost just now. I am not afraid of him at all and I beat him to a wow.” He pointed at him and said, “Why are you so thick-skinned? Yes? I’m going to lock you up and don’t allow you to eat dinner……”
Shen Qianqian got into the house, his voice becoming smaller and quieter, and finally he shuts himself up.
He stared blankly at the person on the cart. He only squatted down after a while, slowly moving his foot forward and looked at Chu Ya without blinking.
“Brother-” He suddenly stopped himself, pursed his mouth and thought for a while. He changed his title: “Person, are you awake?”
Chu Ya looked at the roof. The only difference from when he was unconscious was that his eyes were open, but there was no emotion in those eyes, like a pool of stagnant water.
“Person? Person? Hey?” Shen Qianqian patiently and whispered over and over again. His face getting closer and closer and finally blocked between Chu Ya’s eyes staring at the roof.
Seeing Chu Ya’s empty gaze back on his face, Shen Qianqian softened his voice: “Are you awake?……”
Chu Ya stared at his face for a few seconds. Shen Qianqian smiled at him, revealing a row of small white teeth.
“Haven’t you slept enough? Do you still want to sleep? Didn’t you get enough sleep? Ah, I forgot you wanted water. I’ll help you drink it.”
He rested the kettle on the bedside table and twisted the lid with both hands.
“You’re awake. Hey, hey, why are you awake?” He turned his head to look at Chu Ya, and continued to deal with the lid of the pot: “You just wanted to drink water. I went and fetch water for you. I’ll go out and come back, ah! You’re awake, hahaha. Oh, I also met a ghost, but I’m not afraid, as long as he dares to hit me, I’m going to stab him with an iron rod……”
Chu Ya’s gaze fell on Shen Qianqian’s back. He looked at his slender neck that stretched out from his collar of the cotton coat. He suddenly remembered that in the beast just now, he saw the same back.
He felt that everything that had happened just now, but when he was in a coma, he unconsciously released his spiritual power and spread it around here.
Chu Ya didn’t continue to think deeply. The despair and grief of losing his parents spread in his heart, penetrating his blood vessels, seeping into the skeletal muscles, and pinching his soul to sink a little bit.
He hunched back and stretched out his hand: “Be careful. Don’t spill it, little one. Come, I’ll feed you.”
Chu Ya only felt that his eyes flashed brightly and he came.
He woke up from time to time, so he knew the purpose of the spoon and reflexively opened his mouth.
Shen Qianqian stood in surprise. He withdrew the spoon and smiled: “You don’t need me to pry on your mouth. You can open your mouth by yourself. You are so good, so good.”
Before Chu Ya could close his mouth, a pot lid quickly came to his mouth and poured it in.
With a grunt, Chu Ya swallowed the water that filled his mouth.
“You keep drinking water. I’ll keep pouring you a drink.” Shen Qianqian walked with the lid of the kettle the size of a water cup, got up, and went to the bedside table, “If you have a fever, drink more water. Drink a lot.”
Chu Ya was so weak that he didn’t even have the strength to raise his hand. He was thirsty, so he let Shen Qianqian feed him several pot lids. It wasn’t until Shen Qianqian poured water to feed him again that he closed his mouth tightly.
“Do you not want to drink anymore?”
Chu Ya didn’t respond. He just looked at the tin roof.
“Can’t you open your mouth again? Do you still want to drink it? Is it that you can’t open your mouth again?”
Shen Qianqian lowered his head to get the spoon.Chu Ya finally had a hint of reaction. He shook his head hard and squeezed out a short breath sound: “No, I don’t want to drink anymore.”
“Oh, if you don’t want to drink anymore then I won’t give you anymore for now.” Shen Qianqian said simply, got up, and put the lid of the pot away. He then squatted beside Chu Ya, looking at him without blinking.
Chu Ya could ignore his gaze, but his chatter continued to drill into his ears. He couldn’t ignore it if he wanted to.
“You look so pale, paler than the last time I saw you. You weren’t so pale in the welfare home that time.” Shen Qianqian said with his head held high, his left hand slightly pressed together as if he was holding something. His eyes drooped expressionlessly, “That’s how you are. But your eye eyelashes is still the same length.”
Chu Ya didn’t want to listen to these unfocused nonsense, but when he heard the three words of the welfare home, he still had his heart in mind. It’s a slight movement.
The image of another child finally came to his mind—wearing a cotton hat that covered his ears, snotty, and his eyes rolling darkly—and he finally recognized that this child was the dirty child he had seen in the welfare home.
Isn’t that in the Abyss Welfare Home?
He struggled to remember, vaguely remembering the sound of gunshots and footsteps, and the repeated admonitions in his ear.
“…… Xiaoya, you want to live…… I’ll pick you up……”
This voice was Adjutant Yun, it should have been him who snatched him out of the White Castle and then sent him to the abyss to hide.
As for why there is this child next to him, it is possible that he is hiding in a welfare home.
“Where is this?” He asked, his voice hoarse and unpleasant.
Shen Qianqian replied, “My office.”
Chu Ya would believe that this was an office and guessed that this should be a miscellaneous room in a welfare home.
“Who sent me?” Chu Ya asked weakly.
“You were not sent to anyone, I picked you up from the garbage mountain.” Shen Qianqian said softly.
“What about the others…… What about the adults?”
Shen Qianqian looked around: “Is there anyone else? I don’t know.”
